![]() Red Chip Poker should be a site to watch for more free web tools in the future, alongside their paid videos. 1 in Google for their Fold Equity Calculator. Shown above are the hand equities for the biggest poker pot ever played, in which Isildur1 was a 54% favorite vs Patrik Antonius in a $1.3 million PLO hand. Less advanced features but fast to use on the go or while grinding. With a paid license users can crunch numbers on their machine, save ranges, run multiple queries into a spreadsheet, and other advanced formulations. Count the number of combinations in a range, and easily paste results into forums. Their Java app outputs all-in equity for Hold’em, Stud, Omaha, O8, Stud, Stud8 and Razz hands. This is one the most important poker tools for online MTT and SNG players. You can bet if you are on a table and someone is crushing it they will have a HUD and are collecting data on you! Every stream/video I've seen of pros they have them on screen. I have no idea the number of people who use HUDs, but professionals use them. There is even a leak analysis bit which shows your stats vs. Split the data by date, type of game, big blind amount, cash/tourney, money won by showdown or making your opponent fold. You can see your complete playing history profit & loss. It will import stats so as long as you have set Poker Stars to create hand history files it can import old data. Poker Tracker 4 is a 1 off payment so once you've bought it no more cost. The main plus is that it requires zero setting up so as a first PokerStars HUD is good just to get the hang of using a HUD while playing. By keeping everything simple and streamlined, they’ve left off a lot of options that other poker trackers are offering. This is great for those that only want to pay for what they use. This is because they work on a low monthly subscription compared to a large one-off investment. Even the premium is a fraction of the cost of the nearest competitor. The free option is perfect for anyone who is on the fence about HUDs. Compared to others on the market we believe Jivaro are offering a lot for a little. With less complicated stats and options it’s a lot less intimidating for those who are resistant to HUDs. ![]() Jivaro clearly had more recreational players in mind when they created this software, and they’ve done a brilliant job to make it as good as it is. The HUD is designed to be easy to read and not clutter the screen while you play, something we really appreciate. Jivaro’s software, design, layout and technical set up are incredibly easy to use and clear. A feature offered by PokerStars that eats away at EV is, in my opinion, something you should avoid. Good poker players know they need to take every chance to maximise EV. So all-in cash out gives you precisely 1% below your equity value (EV). We apply a 1% cash out fee on value of your hand (not the entire pot), deducted prior to offering the cash out amount. They call it hand value, but it is also the exact formula for Equity Value. That’s because by definition it is a “minus EV” feature. But should you use it? In my opinion, no. Players declining the cash out option will still need the best hand at showdown to win the pot, even if all their opponents have cashed out. Once a player chooses to cash out they will no longer be eligible to contest any portion of the pot, and will receive the offered amount added to their stack immediately. If they decline, they will continue to contest the entire pot (and any side pots in which they are involved) as usual. Players in the all-in pot will be presented with the option to cash out their hand and receive the cash out amount, risk-free. When an all-in situation occurs in a cash game and players’ hands are revealed (before the river and with no more action pending), we calculate each hand’s probability to win the pot and assign a cash out value to each hand, based on those probabilities. ![]() PokerStars recently introduced “all-in cash out” on some tables. Poker Copilot’s HUD and hand tracker now works fully with all-in cash out hands.
